The 1st collection
ancient lotus
-the ancient flower ti be proud of inthe blooming-

I was born in Osaka on March 4th in 1968.

From my school days, I have traveled all over the world with a camera in the hands. For several years, I have been seriousiy studying photography.
Being lucky in the meeting of a master I deeply respect,and surrounded by friends I trust in, I have been taking pictures to feel and admire the natural landscapes, which are in heritage from Japan to world each place.Every year I hold a cooperation exhibition with some friends at Tokyo in Japan, but then, for the first time, I decided to have the exhibition of the ancient lotus in Paris ( and I created this photograph collection.)
The idea was inspired by the 《ancient lotus》 blooming near my house.They reminded me of the first overwhelming emotions I felt when I first saw ( 15 years before at orangerie museum in Paris ) the Water lily by Monet.,artist who always tried to catch the twinkling light on water.While taking photograph, the intense will of showing to Paris this works grew in me.Now this dream has come true.

 When publishing the 2nd collection
When I had my first exhibition in Paris, on the theme of « Lotus Antique » in July 2003, I was surprised at the echoing.
I got in touch with many people who I didn’t know, not only my colleagues photographers. I got involved more and more in the world of lotus.
I don’t take only a photograph of a lotus. I have, however, so many works about lotus that I want to show more. Still I created lot of new works, influenced by my solo-exhibitions in summer 2003. My feelings have been changing and developing.
Unfortunately, this time I cannot show all of them at once. I focused on the ones I am most interested in. I am very happy if the number of people who feel the same as me increases.
